Eden Project

Just before the world changed in 2020, I had the privilege of visiting the Eden Project as a guest of its founder, Sir Tim Smit. I arrived with the intention of capturing a behind-the-scenes glimpse—expecting hidden corners or untold stories. But at Eden, nothing is concealed. Transparency is part of the design; everything is laid bare.

So instead of searching for what wasn’t there, I turned my lens to what often goes unnoticed. I began to focus on small details—textures, forms, colours—isolating them from their broader context. This shift in approach transformed the familiar into something unexpected.

The result is a series of images that invite the viewer to see Eden differently: not as a vast, public space, but as a collection of intimate moments and fragments—quiet, abstracted impressions that challenge perception and offer new ways of looking.
